The Falmouth Youth Basketball season is expected to begin in early November.

Games typically begin in early December and continue through February vacation. Practices, game schedules and other team-specific information will be shared once teams are formed.

Boys’ Teams

Falmouth boys in grades 5–8 compete in the Cape Cod Youth Basketball League.

Boys’ tryouts are currently expected to take place in mid-to-late October. Final dates, times and locations will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.

Girls’ Teams

Falmouth girls in grades 5–8 compete in the Old Colony Girls Basketball League.

We are currently considering an evaluation day for girls in mid-to-late October. Additional information will be shared as soon as plans are finalized.

Registration and Season Fees

Season fees are expected to remain close to the fees charged in prior years. Final pricing and payment deadlines will be announced in the coming days.

Once teams have been formed, families will receive instructions for completing registration. Required items may include:

• Player and parent or guardian contact information
• Emergency and medical information
• Signed program forms and agreements
• Proof of school enrollment and/or Falmouth residency
• Season-fee payment

We are working to offer digital payment options this year. Checks and cash will continue to be accepted.

Additional documentation and payment instructions will be sent directly to participating families after rosters are finalized.

Postseason Tournaments

Some teams may have opportunities to participate in postseason tournaments after the regular season.

Tournament participation is optional. Any postseason tournament fees, travel expenses or related costs are not included in the regular-season registration fee and will be communicated in advance.

We are currently in significant need of community members who are willing to contribute their time, experience or ideas. You do not need to be a basketball expert or commit to a major leadership role to help.
